Praise be to Spring

Here is a critique for your image. Excellent subject. I think flowers are wonderful and flowering trees offer an amazing oppritunity for lovely images.

I like this overall image and I think that you picked a great branch to take an image of. I think that the focus of the entire image is a bit general, meaning that it seems not to point out any one flower in particular.

If I were to do this shot I would get a really sharp focus on one flower as a focal point. Also I would have some lucky volunteer stand beside me with a piece of white paper to bounce a little light off of the front of the flowers, just to highlight them. As the brightness of the background tends to place them into shadow.

Overall I do love this image, I just think it could use a little extra pazazz in its presentation.
